They also support students’ emotional, social, and moral development and help reduce inequality. Technology should therefore enhance teaching, not eliminate the human role at the heart of education.

Education should be treated as a public good rather than a market service. Making all levels free removes financial barriers that limit talent and reinforces equality of opportunity. When governments manage education, they can ensure consistent standards, fair resource distribution, and long-term national planning. Such a system strengthens social mobility, develops human capital, and aligns learning with broader societal needs.

There is ongoing debate over whether children should be encouraged to compete or to cooperate. Competition can build motivation, resilience, and goal-setting skills, helping children handle pressure and failure. However, cooperation better develops empathy, communication, and teamwork, which are essential in modern societies. A cooperative upbringing supports emotional growth and social adaptability, making individuals more balanced and useful adults in the long run.
