The map illustrates the two proposed sites to build a new shopping centre in the Brandfield city.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that the two sites under consideration for the novel mall are located northern and in the south-east of the town. In addition to the vicinity of railway, both the proposed sites are close to the major establishments, like housing and Industrial Estates.
Looking at the details, one of the suggested sites, which is called S1 is in the vicinity of the housing estate on the north of the city centre. The river runs through the north and east of S1. Furthermore, on the south and southwest of S1, a railway passes from southeast of the city to the northwest side. Closing to the estate house buildings can be an advantage due to the easy access for people living there.
Turning to the S2, the site is located on the south-east of the city, between the railway and a road, which goes through south to the northeast of the town. An industrial estate has been established on the north of S2 and east of the city centre, also it has a golf centre on the opposite side on the west of the map. All things are considered, in terms of easy accessibility, this essay clearly presents that S1 is more suitable for building a new shopping mall.
