Model Essay 1
The debate over whether celebrities deserve the same privacy as the general public is a contentious one. On one hand, it's argued that celebrities, having chosen the limelight, should expect a reduced level of privacy. On the other hand, the counterargument holds that, irrespective of their public status, they are entitled to personal privacy like any other individual. This essay will explore both perspectives before concluding with a personal viewpoint.
Proponents of the idea that celebrities should forgo some privacy rights often cite their deliberate choice of a public career as a tacit waiver of sorts. They argue that fame and public attention are not just intrinsic but essential aspects of celebrity status, with public scrutiny playing a pivotal role in their continued relevance and marketability. For example, when a celebrity shares personal milestones on social media, it's often interpreted as an invitation for public discourse, thus intentionally blurring the lines between their public persona and private life. This perspective suggests that the trade-off for fame is a certain level of openness with the public, where celebrities are expected to share more of their lives as part of their public narrative.
Conversely, advocates for celebrity privacy argue that being in the public eye should not equate to an all-access pass to every aspect of one's personal life. They contend that, like any individual, celebrities possess the right to privacy, which is essential not just for mental health but also for their overall well-being and the safety of their families. This view emphasizes that public figures, despite the nature of their careers, should not be deprived of the sanctity of personal boundaries, which are fundamental to human dignity. For instance, numerous celebrities have faced unwarranted intrusions into their private lives, leading to significant distress and, in some cases, extensive legal battles to reclaim their privacy and protect their rights, highlighting the need for respectful boundaries.
In conclusion, fame does not negate the human right to privacy. Despite their public stature, celebrities deserve a balance that respects their privacy while acknowledging their public role. Finding a respectful middle ground, where personal boundaries are maintained without impeding public interest, is key to ensuring a harmonious relationship between celebrities and the society they entertain.

Model Essay 2
In today's society, the privacy of celebrities versus that of the general public is a topic of heated debate. On one side, it is argued that celebrities, having chosen the spotlight, forfeit certain privacy rights inherent to the common individual. Conversely, others advocate for their entitlement to privacy equal to any other citizen. This essay will explore both perspectives and argue that while celebrities should expect reduced privacy, a boundary must exist to protect their fundamental human rights.
Proponents of diminished celebrity privacy underscore the implicit trade-off between fame and personal space. By pursuing careers in the public eye, celebrities reap the benefits of fame, such as wealth and influence, at the cost of constant media scrutiny. This perspective is buoyed by the notion that public interest, fueled by celebrities' own actions to maintain relevance, justifies the media's encroachment on their private lives. For instance, reality TV stars, who monetize their personal lives, often blur the lines between public and private spheres, leading to the belief that their entire lives are fair game for public consumption.
However, this stance overlooks the essential human right to privacy, regardless of one's public status. Advocates for celebrity privacy argue that being in the public eye should not negate one's right to personal boundaries. They contend that the invasive nature of paparazzi and certain media outlets can lead to significant psychological distress and a feeling of perpetual surveillance. Furthermore, the argument extends to the idea that everyone, regardless of their profession or public standing, deserves moments of solitude and respite from the public gaze. The case of Princess Diana, whose tragic death was linked to aggressive paparazzi, underscores the potentially fatal consequences of eroding privacy.
In conclusion, while celebrities may indeed sacrifice a degree of privacy in exchange for fame, it is imperative to maintain a balance that respects their basic human rights. Acknowledging the distinction between public interest and invasive voyeurism is crucial. Celebrities, despite their public roles, merit a private sphere protected from unwarranted intrusion. The discourse should not be about the eradication of privacy but about delineating its boundaries respectfully.

Model Essay 3
Some argue that as celebrities choose to stay under media focus, they should not be given the privacy right, though some other people view that they should have the same right as that of general public. Though celebrities make their choice of living open as a part of their career success, I strongly believe that they also have the privacy right because the persistent chase of their private life could expose them to diverse dangers.
On the one hand, some people think public figures should not be entitled to privacy enjoyed by the public due to the fact that they decided to be in the spotlight while it has a price. Celebrities should understand the consequences because they are required to attract media attention so as to promote their work. They need to disclose their profile to the general public for the sake of letting more people know their stories and private life and be successful. Hence, they should satisfy public’s curiosity through giving up their private lives.
On the other hand, persistent trespassing of famous individuals can disclose their sensitive information that could end up in criminals’ hand and trigger various crimes. Furthermore, fanatic fans run after their icons to avail their belongings as a symbol of attachment, however, to do this, they might resort to stealing, vandalising or other violent approaches which are never welcoming in any senses. Even sometimes, their children are also exposed to unwanted media attention which could terribly hamper their normal growth. To prevent these unexpected consequences, sometimes it is important to keep the intruders away from tracking the famous individuals’ daily life.
To conclude, even though celebrities love to stay focused and are obliged to reveal their livings as per their career choice, privacy protection is a fundamental human right and it is even more relevant when it comes to famous people because the relentless intrusion of their private life can destroy their normal livings and expose their loved ones to adversities.
