IELTS Task 1 Map Band 9 Sample Report

The maps illustrate two floor plans designed for the business conventions that took place in 2009 and 2010, respectively.

Overall, the floor design of 2010 has preserved all the amenities that were in the plan of 2009, with the addition of a refreshment area. All the businesses on the floor plan of 2010 have undergone a structural relocation, while the main and side entrances remain as they were in 2009.

The registration area that was located between the main and side gates in 2009 has been transformed to a refreshment area in 2010. On the southeast corner of the map for 2009, there are two rooms: the first is a music hall with seating, and the second is a conference space with a stage and chairs. In 2010, the space has become a single large room used for exhibits.

The north-eastern balcony on the map was left unaltered, but in 2010 a lounge space was constructed to it. Exhibition room, located next to the balcony in 2009, has changed its purpose to a concert hall with stage and seats in 2010. The 2010 map exhibits that the registration area is now close to the concert hall on the right side, and the exhibition area that was in the main hall in 2009 is removed.
