In contrast, India boasts of a higher growth rate and density, but a smaller land area. While the USA trails behind China and India in terms of population and land area, it outshines the other two countries in urbanization.


In terms of absolute population figures, China has the highest number of people, with a staggering 1.415 billion inhabitants, followed closely by India with 1.354 billion people. In contrast, the USA has a comparatively smaller population, with 327 million people. However, India's growth rate of +1.11% is the highest among the three nations, followed by the USA's +0.71% and China's lowest growth rate of +0.39%.


Population density is another critical metric, with India emerging as the most densely populated country, with 455 individuals per square kilometre, followed by China with 151 people and the USA with 36. Comparing land area, China has the most extensive land expanse, covering 9.388 million square kilometres, followed by the USA with 9.147 million square kilometres, while India's land area is relatively smaller, at 2.973 million square kilometres.
