The bar chart depicts the coffee and tea consumption patterns of people in five different Australian cities over the past four weeks.


Overall, the majority of the population in all cities, except Adelaide, preferred buying coffee or tea from cafes, while instant coffee was the second most popular option, followed by fresh coffee.


Melbourne and Hobart had the highest percentage of people going to cafes, with 64% and 63%, respectively. Sydney followed closely behind with just over 60%, and Brisbane with over 55%. Adelaide had the lowest proportion of people going to cafes, with less than 50%.


Adelaide was the only city where instant coffee purchases outweighed café visits, with 50% of people buying instant coffee. Hobart had the highest percentage of instant coffee purchases at 54%, followed by Brisbane at 52%, Melbourne at 48%, and Sydney with just over 45%.


Fresh coffee purchases were below 45% in all cities. Sydney had the highest proportion of fresh coffee buyers at 44%, followed by Melbourne at 42%, and Hobart at 39%. Adelaide and Brisbane had the lowest percentage of fresh coffee purchases, with around 34%.

The bar chart showcases the information regarding the coffee and tea purchasing habits of individuals in five Australian cities, namely Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne, and Sydney. The data indicates that coffee and tea taken at coffee shops were the most popular, followed by instant coffee and fresh coffee.


Overall, in Sydney, Melbourne, and Hobart, the largest percentage of individuals took tea or coffee at cafes, with slightly over 60% in each city. Brisbane followed close behind with slightly over 55%, while Adelaide recorded the lowest percentage in this category with around 50%.


Instant coffee was most popular in Brisbane and Hobart, with almost 55% of individuals in each city choosing this option. Adelaide came in second with 50% of individuals opting for instant coffee, making it the city's largest percentage of total purchases. Sydney and Melbourne had the lowest percentages of instant coffee drinkers, with just over 45% in each city.


Finally, Sydney and Melbourne were found to have the largest percentage of individuals who consumed fresh coffee, at approximately 43% each. Brisbane and Adelaide recorded the lowest percentages in this category, with around 35% of individuals opting for fresh coffee. Hobart came in second with roughly 40% of residents choosing this option.

The bar chart illustrates the information about people’s past four weeks’ coffee and tea purchase behaviour in five Australian cities, namely Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Hobart. Overall, coffee and tea taken at coffee shops had the largest percentages of buyers, followed by instant coffee and fresh coffee.


Overall, Sydney, Melbourne, and Hobart recorded the highest prevalence of residents who preferred cafes for their tea or coffee, with just over 60% each. Brisbane followed close behind with a slightly above 55% figure, while Adelaide recorded a little less than 50%, making it the only city where this category did not account for the highest percentage.


Brisbane and Hobart had the greatest percentages of inhabitants who drank instant coffee, at little under 55% each. Adelaide came in second with 50%, representing their largest percentage of total purchases. The lowest were in Sydney and Melbourne, each with just over 45%.
