Model Answer 4

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter regarding one of the open positions for some unpaid work at your museum. This seems to be an extremely exciting opportunity for me to be of help as a volunteer.

As per the advertisement that was posted for the work, it seems perfectly suitable for me. As I have been pursuing my master's degree in History, the exposure to the museum's artifacts and other historical paintings would deepen my knowledge in this field.

As I am born and bred in China and graduated from the department of English Language at the University of Sydney, I can speak fluently both English and Chinese. In addition to that, I was a member of our university communication club where I was assigned to interact regularly with the people from diverse languages and cultures. This experience made me quite confident about my excellent inter-personal skills, so I would be the right candidate to manage the visitors inside the museum.

Regarding the joining time, I will be fully available after two weeks, since I am at home enjoying my college vacation. Also, I would like to let you know that I am flexible with the working hours. Therefore, please feel free to contact me if you would like to obtain more information about me. As soon as I receive a confirmation from your end, I would be able to join.

Hope you find my educational background, skills and availability are suitable for this work. I am looking forward to hearing positive news from you.

Yours faithfully,

Laila Sharmin
