One of my friends told me that your organization helps students who are in need of financial assistance, and therefore, I am writing this letter to ask for your monetary support.
I graduated from Uppsala University in 2015 with a master's degree in Computer Science. I was a standout grade achiever among the then hundreds of students in the department, and as a result, I was always the teachers’ favourite whenever anything academic came up to deal with. However, if it is necessary or helpful, I would like to provide you with my academic credentials and a few recommendation letters from the teachers in those days.
The course that I would like to apply for is called Sweden as a Second Language at Stockholm University, and its code is SE007. It will teach the basic grammar and daily communication skills. This special course is conducted by an internationally celebrated language teacher, and you will be surprised to know that more than 6000 students have already applied in just two days for a seat in the 50-student class size.
With basic Swedish language skills, I will be able to find more decent jobs in future, because in Sweden most companies prefer employees who can speak Swedish. In addition, it will help me to enjoy my daily life because my colleagues, friends, and neighbour all mostly speak Swedish. Therefore, once I am a user of the same majority language, definitely it will allow me to immerse into the broader community and harness the maximum advantages out of it.
